The effort to exist, one of life’s most fundamental sources of motivation, is addressed in this study through trees reshaped by the wind. The way trees stand firm against the wind aligns with human’s inner existential struggle. While these photographs emphasize nature’s resilience and the will to exist, each frame aims to make visible people’s own life struggles and their efforts to maintain their existence. Reflecting the shared struggle for existence between humans and nature, these images convey the resistance shown against life’s hardships and the desire to hold on to life.
